FERNANDO “OSWALDO” LEONZO

Fernando is a founder and the Chairman & CEO of LFER.  Prior to LFER, he held executive roles at various consumer packaged goods companies where he had responsibilities for sales, marketing and logistics, specifically managing DSD (Direct Store Delivery) networks.  He served as a regional manager for Deep River Snacks and held a managerial role for Reeds Beverage Company (NYSE American:REED). Fernando also previously served as Sales Director of CheeseWorks, a UK-based, privately held company specializing in the import and sale of gourmet cheeses and snacks.  He has exceled in these tasks with a total of 19 years in the industry. Fernando has established long-standing relationships with food & beverage manufacturers, contract packagers, raw material vendor sources (both in the U.S. and in Latin America), as well as a solid clientele base of distributors throughout the U.S. Food & Beverage industry.

Previously, he spent a decade in the financial services industry, initially as a sales executive with financial firms such as Sands Brothers & Co. and Spear Leeds & Kellogg and later for a major clearinghouse on Wall Street.  He earned his B.A. from New York University in International Relations.

JOHN “JC” ROMAGOSA

JC is a Founder, Board Member and President of LFER.  He is also the founder of Latin Sales & Marketing, LLC., and Pangea Multicultural Solutions, LLC, both are full service food brokerage firms that provide product development, marketing and logistics for CPG companies targeting a mass retail audience. Currently they have over $50M in net sales under close management.  He previously served as Managing Director of family-owned Falcon International Distributors, LLC, a leading food and beverage distributor (East Coast US), where he was responsible for procurement and operations. During his tenure, the Company increased sales from $9M to $100M+.  The Company was sold in 2011.  JC has spent his whole career of 19 years as an entrepreneur in the U.S. Food & Beverage Industry.

Mr. Romagosa is an alumnus of St. John’s University, where he majored in Finance and Business Administration.  He has received Chamber of Commerce awards in NY and NJ for the contribution of over a million pounds of donated products to food banks.

PETER DACEY

Peter is the CFO of LFER.  He has 25 years of experience as a Senior Executive providing financial, operational and managerial expertise to organizations in both the private and public sectors.  Peter was a founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Miami Bay Beverage Company, LLC, which successfully developed and launched the Trimino line of protein infused waters.  He led the development of the beverage formulation and established the manufacturing and supply chain. Peter negotiated partnerships with key distributors and sold the brand to more than 15,000 retail outlets.   In addition, he managed all finance, accounting, human resources and logistics operations for the operation.

Prior to founding Miami Bay Beverage Company, LLC, he was one of the founders and CFO of 454 Life Sciences Corporation, a leader in next generation sequencing technology.  He was directly responsible for building an organization that successfully developed and commercialized innovative technologies. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for publicly traded biotechnology companies Stem Cells Inc. and Cyto Therapeutics Inc.  

Peter was associated with Ernst & Young LLP specializing in the entrepreneurial and technology sectors. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Rhode Island, graduating with honors.

ROBERT GUNTHER

Robert is a Founder, Board Member and COO of LFER.  He has over 25 years’ experience in manufacturing, marketing, and sales both in consumer goods and the construction industry.  Robert has extensive expertise in client needs analysis in the development of new, innovative products. He has developed a large portfolio of accounts in both the retail and manufacturing industry.  His proven track record in guiding sizeable teams is supported by a history of outstanding customer and vendor relationships, while ensuring quality customer service.

Most recently, he has led his own import/export business specializing in the textile industry.  He was previously Senior Account Executive, Vice President of Premier Narrow Fabrics, where he was responsible for millions in sales for major accounts.

BOARD

WILLIAM HAYDE

Bill serves and an independent Board Member of LFER.  He has been the Managing Director of the Interim Opportunity Fund LLC and its advisor, Waterside Capital Advisors, Inc. since March 2018. During 2013, Bill Co-Founded and is currently the Executive Vice President of Intercontinental Beverage Capital, Inc.(IBC). IBC is a New York based merchant bank focused specifically on the beverage and consumer packaged goods industries.  Since January 2011 thru March 2018, he has been serving as Registered Vice President of Investment Banking Network 1 Financial Securities, Inc. and currently holds the following securities licenses: 6, 7, 24, 63,79.  From 2002-2009, he was co-owner of Waterville Investment Research which also operated the Hedge Fund Waterville Investment Partners LLP.  Bill maintains seats on the advisory boards of multiple public and private companies in the Consumer and Medical industries.

From January 1997 through May of 2010, he was Head of Investment Banking for Brockington Securities and directed the firm’s underwriting activities, private placements, and initiation of trading of newly listed securities.  Bill received his B.A. degree from Stony Brook University.

MICHAEL BLOOM
Over 38 years of retail experience including drug, value and drug/value combos. Mr. Bloom is currently the Executive Vice-President, Chief Merchandising and Marketing officer at GPM Investments LLC, the largest privately held company in the convenience store channel of business. Former President, Chief Operating Officer, CEO and member of the Board of Directors at Fred’s Inc. in Memphis TN. Former President and Chief Operating Officer at Family Dollar. Former Executive Vice President of Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain at CVS. 

Mr. Bloom is a seasoned executive leader with a vast array of experiences including Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Relationship Marketing, Acquisitions, Pricing, Private Brands, Direct Importing and developing strong teams and supplier relationships. Mr. Bloom holds an AA degree from Broward Community College.
